Alexis and Nicky Middleton Lodge Wedding

When I was asked to shoot this wedding, I was thrilled- I have known this couple for many years now, so this was an even more special experience for me too. Alexis and Nicky are the loveliest of people and I was so excited to be asked.

Their wedding was at a personal favourite venue of mine, located in Richmond, North Yorkshire- I have shot here many times and love the aesthetics of this romantic lodge.

The location matched the classic, lace gown Alexis was wearing, who looked truly breathtaking.

Nicky complimented his bride in a traditional tails suit.

I joined the ladies getting ready with hair, makeup and champagne flowing; the atmosphere in the room was full of love and excitement.

The ceremony was in a large room with bay shuttered windows, and the sun was out just in time.

All friends and family were elated and the room roared with cheers as it became official!

After the ceremony we moved outside to capture more shots- with friends and family.

Everyone was getting ready to move onto the evening, and the party!

Everyone was in great spirits and excitement building.

The evening was in full swing, with a live music and a saxophonist.

The new Mr and Mrs Buckley were looking totally in love and in full bliss.
